Pegasus Bay Winery
Wow!!! We visited the Pegasus Bay winery while doing a short winery tour with friends visiting from Australia. Starting with a wine tasting, we sampled several of their Pegasus Bay and Main Divide wines. The quality was consistently high. We were already fans of their Main Divide Chardonnay and after this visit we added their Pegasus Bay range of wines to our list of favourites.
We admired the wines, but the meal was superb. Each of us chose a different dish and each commented it was among the best that had tasted. We immediately added Pegasus Bay to our very short list of excellent dining experiences along with Le Pot Au Feu in Christchurch and Harbour 71 in Akaroa.
